Parmesan Baked Asparagus

This Parmesan Baked Asparagus recipe is real good, real easy and it only takes twenty minutes – total. And fifteen of those minutes they are in the oven while you get the rest of your dinner finished up. 


Prep Time five minutes. Cook time fifteen minutes

Ingredients for your Parmesan Baked Asparagus

These amounts are for 4 servings. 

  • 1 pound Fresh Asparagus Spears – Larger works better than the thin ones
  • olive oil
  • Salt and Pepper – to taste
  • Garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese

 

Set the oven at 400°F. Line a 9″ x 13″ cookie sheet or baking pan with aluminum foil and lightly spray or wipe it with olive oil.

Cut the ugly stump ends off the asparagus spears and lay them out in the pan.

Lightly drizzle with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder and the grated parmesan cheese. toss them a little bit to get them all coated evenly and them out evenly.

Put them in the oven and check on them after 10 minutes. You might like them a little firm or you might want them to cook a little more. It’s up to you. Another 5 minutes would be max.

They are a perfect side for just about anything. We had ours with our zucchini rollatini.
