Brown Sugared Ham Steak

Brown Sugared Ham Steak - Talk about quick and easy recipes. This is definitely one them. And, it turned out real good.

We were in a hurry and hungry so I thought of this. We had a ham steak in the fridge and always have brown sugar on hand. So, here’s how our delish supper came together in fifteen minutes.

Here’s how to do it

First, put a skillet on at medium high and add the olive oil, butter and the brown sugar.

Mix it all together

and, when the butter stops foaming lay the ham steak in the skillet.

Turn it over a couple of times as it heats up to get the butter and sugar tastes all spread out on the ham steak.

While that was going on I cut up a large sweet potato into quarters and sprinkled a little cinnamon on top. Put it in the microwave . And, when it had been zapped for a couple of minutes I added a bowl of some frozen broccoli florets with a couple pads of butter to the microwave.. Then cranked up the microwave again.

The ham steak was looking good.

The sweet potato and the broccoli were done. So, after an investment of just fifteen minutes. We sat down and enjoyed our Brown Sugared Ham Steak.
