Italian Turkey Sausage? I had never heard of such a thing! I ran across it in the grocery store and we’re trying to eat healthier and staying as close as we can to the Mediterranean Diet. So I got some.

I wanted it to be a quick and easy one pot meal.
So, put a large skillet on at medium high and eyeball a couple tablespoons of olive oil. While it is heating up cut up the potatoes and the garlic. Put the sausages and the potatoes in the skillet. Poke the sausages with the tip of a small knife on both sides.
When the potatoes start to get brown on the edges add the broccoli florets and the chopped garlic. You could use just about any kind of veggie just adjust the time that you add them to the skillet. For instance raw carrots would go in with the potatoes and frozen peas would be just about a minute before serving.
When the juice running out of the sausage is clear it’s time to serve up your Italian Turkey Sausage One Pot Meal. We had a nice bottle of Italian Pinot Noir on hand that went along real good. Also some of Poppop’s easy homemade bread to round things out.
Turkey sausage instead of our usual Italian Sausage recipes isn’t a forever thing but we’re going to have it once in a while. It turned out real good and it’s a keeper.

Ingredients

- 4 links Itakian Turkey sausage
- 2 small potatoes or 1 large
- 4 cloves garlic chopped
- 2 cups frozen broccoli florets or fresh
- grated parmesan cheese for garnish when serving
- Salt and Pepper to taste salt is optional
