The number of servings can be changed in the recipe card found below this post. Changing the amount of servings on the recipe card will automatically change the amounts of the ingredients.
- Ten to twelve large shrimp – peeled and deveined
- olive oil
- butter
- salt and pepper
- 3 cloves garlic – chopped
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley or 2 tablespoons fresh chopped
- 1 tablespoon dried basil or 2 tablespoons fresh chopped
- Pasta
And here is how to make your Italian Shrimp Recipe happen
Put a pot of water on for some pasta and add the pasta and salt to it. Stir it as it softens up and cooks. If your shrimp need to be thawed out just put them in a bowl of water. They will be soft enough to peel and devein almost right away.
Put a skillet that is big enough to handle the shrimp all laid out on their sides on at medium high. Add the olive oil and butter.
Chop up the garlic. If you need to chop the parsley and basil do that too.
When the butter has stopped bubbling add the parsley, basil, black pepper, garlic and lemon juice. Stir it all together and lay out the shrimp in the skillet. Cook the shrimp 2 – 3 minutes a side. When they are pink on the sides and opaque in the middle they are done. Put them on your serving plates and add the pasta to the skillet.
Toss the pasta in that good stuff in the skillet then add it to the serving dishes and enjoy your Italian Shrimp Recipe. I multi tasked and made some parmesan crusted Air Fryer Zucchini Chips while everything else was going on.
