Easy Calamari Recipe
This easy calamari recipe is great for a busy weeknight when you would like some calamari but don’t want to go through the flour – eggs – crumbs – frying in oil – ordeal.
Today’s quote – “Vegetables are a must on a diet. I suggest carrot cake, zucchini bread, and pumpkin pie.” – Jim Davis
How To make Your Calamari Dinner
Put a skillet on at medium high and add just enough olive oil to barely cover the bottom and also add the butter. When the butter stops foaming the skillet will be ready for the calamari mixture.
Put all of the ingredients in a bowl. If your calamari rings are frozen you don’t have to thaw them out. Just charge on.
Gently toss it, getting all of the ingredients mixed together. Then add it to the skillet.
Toss or flip it a few times as it cooks. When the tomatoes and the onions have wilted and the calamari rings have started to turn brown on the edges ( about 5-7 minutes) it is ready to serve.
We had some french fries from our air frier with ours but spaghetti aglio e olio also goes along real well with this Calamari Recipe.
