Easy Calamari Recipe

Calamari rings done quickly in a skillet

Ingredients
  

  • olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 pound calamari rings
  • 8-10 cherry tomatoes or 1 roma tomato diced
  • 2 tbsp thin onion strips
  • 2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp capers rinsed
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Put a skillet on at medium high and add just enough olive oil to barely cover the bottom and also add the butter.
  • Put all of the ingredients in a bowl. If your calamari rings are frozen you don't have to thaw them out. Just charge on.
    Gently toss it all together then add it to the skillet.
  • Toss or flip it a few times as it cooks. When the calamari rings have started to turn brown on the edges ( about 5-7 minutes) it is ready to serve.
  • We had some french fries from our air frier with ours but pasta also goes along real well with your Easy Calamari Recipe.
