Ricotta Cheese Pasta
We had this Ricotta Cheese Pasta with our Balsamic Chicken tonight. It was very easy to multi task while the Balsamic Chicken was coming together. Just three ingredients (plus the salt) and it’s GOOD!
Today’s tip
When you cook pasta you don’t have to wait for the water to boil before you put the pasta in. Just put the pot of water on the stove add the salt and the pasta. As the water heats up so will the pasta. Stir it as it softens. It cuts down on the time to get it ready to serve.
Ingredients
for 2 servings
- salt
- 1/4 lb. pasta
- 1/2 stick of butter
- 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
How to cook up your Ricotta Cheese Pasta
Like we just said. Put the pot of water on and add the pasta and the salt. When the pasta is done the way that you like it drain out the water and add the butter. When the butter has melted gently stir it up getting all of the pasta coated.
Then add the ricotta cheese and stir that into the mix. When all of the pasta is evenly coated with the butter and ricotta cheese combo serve up your Ricotta Cheese Pasta. Garnish with some chopped fresh (or dried) basil or parsley. Now, wasn’t that easy?
