Lemon Zested Baked Salmon

This Lemon Zested Salmon Recipe is one of our favorite ways to cook up a healthy and tasty weeknight dinner. It has just a few ingredients and takes only twenty minutes.
Ingredients
These amounts are for 2 servings. If you want different servings amounts scroll down to the recipe card that is below this posting. There you can change the number of servings and it will change all of the amounts of all the ingredients. Also you can switch all of the amounts to metric.
- 2 Appx. 6 oz Salmon Filets
- 1 pinch each of salt and pepper
- 1 pinch dried dill weed
- 1 pinch powdered garlic or 1 clove fresh garlic minced
- Zest from 1 fresh lemon
- 1 tsp. grated parmesan cheese
Lemon Zested Baked Salmon Directions
Get the oven going at 325F. Line a cookie sheet that will handle the number of salmon filets you are going to cook with aluminum foil and spray it with oil. Rinse off the salmon filets and pat them dry. Set them in the pan with the flesh side up. Lightly sprinkle with salt, black pepper, dried dill weed, garlic powder, the lemon zest and a little grated parmesan cheese. Gently squeeze the lemon, that you got the zest from, on top of everything.
Bake for about 8-12 minutes. Test with a fork and when they are done the way YOU like them,
serve up your Lemon Zested Salmon! With a good white wine that you like. Pinot Grigio or Chablis always work good for us.
