GARLIC BUTTER SHRIMP
This Garlic Butter Shrimp recipe is quick, easy and very good. It’s one of our go to recipes for a busy weeknight. We buy shrimp that is frozen and has been peeled and deveined. Which makes it even quicker and easier.
Ingredients
These amounts are for two servings. The number of servings can be changed in the recipe card found below this post. Changing the amount of servings on the recipe card will automatically change the amounts of the ingredients. And they can also be changed to metric.
- 2 Tablespoons butter
- 12 large shrimp – peeled and deveined
- 4 Cloves garlic – chopped
- 1 Lemon
- 1 Tablespoon dried basil
- Salt and Pepper to taste
And here’s how to quickly and easily cook up your Garlic Butter Shrimp
If your shrimp are frozen just put them in a bowl of water to thaw while you get things going. Put a skillet on at medium high and add the butter.
Pat the shrimp dry and add them to the skillet. Squeeze the juice from half of the lemon on the shrimp.
When the skillet side of the shrimp have turned pink turn the shrimp over and add the garlic.
Stir the garlic a few times as it cooks and when the shrimp are red on the outside and white in the middle serve up your Garlic Butter Shrimp with a wedge of lemon. Enjoy!
We had a Caprese Salad, french fries from the air frier, Poppop’s No Knead Bread and some Pinot Grigio with ours.
Now wasn’t that quick and easy?
