When the garlic just starts to get the tiniest bit of golden and you can just begin to smell that great aroma of garlic cooking remove the pan from the heat and stir in the brown sugar.
Put the chicken breast in the skillet and turn them over a few times getting them coated. Move the chicken to the cookie sheet and spoon the remaining garlic mixture on top.
This is up to you but I chopped up some potatoes and spread them out in the pan with the chicken, drizzled them with olive oil and sprinkled some salt and rosemary leaves on them. You could substitute the rosemary with basil or parsley or mint. Give it about 10 – 15 minutes in the oven , depending on the thickness of the chicken. When the juices run clear or the chicken is firm to a poke or better yet when the thickest part of the chicken reads 165°F on an instant read meat thermometer it is ready. Enjoy your Caramelized Garlic Chicken. Now, wasn’t that easy? Bon Appetito!
