Grilled Steak Dinner on a Stovetop Grill

When you do your Grilled Steak Dinner on a stovetop grill you don’t have to be outside when it’s too hot or too cold or rainy. We have two Stovetop Nonstick Grill Pans. One is a Calphalon 11″ Square Grill Pan that sits on one burner like the one I used for tonight’s steak dinner and the other is an  All-Clad 13″ by 20″ two burner grill that I grilled up our Pork Tenderloin Dinner on back in September.

Today’s Tip

Don’t overcrowd the pan. Whether you’re grilling or pan frying or sautéing or making cookies or whatever, leave some space between the items that you are cooking. Like when you might think (or hope) that there is enough room in the skillet for another piece of chicken but if you are hesitant at all, don’t do it. They will cook a lot nicer with a little room between them.

Let’s get your Grilled Steak Dinner going

Put the grill on a burner at medium high. Lightly spray with a little olive oil. Let it heat up as you are salting and peppering the steaks.  Then add the steaks to the grill.

Tonight, we’re grilling carrots right along with the steaks on the grill.

Scoot the carrots around a few times as they cook to get them done on all sides. Check your steaks when they look like they are getting close to the way that you like them done. Poke with a finger and if they are still soft, they are rare. Starting to firm up they are medium. Firm and they are well done. Or use a meat thermometer and you will be much more sure of the results.

When the steaks are done the carrots will also be done. But if you are cooking your steak well done you could push the carrots out to the edges of the grill if they are done before the steaks.

I did some French fries in our new air fryer. We are really liking it. After some research I picked an ULTREAN 4.2 Quart and we are very happy with it.

The drawer and screen that the food cooks on are both dishwasher safe and it is the least noisy of all of the other brands.

Enjoy your Grilled Steak Dinner. You deserve it!
