  • Olive oil
  • 2 salmon filets (6-8ounces each)
  • 1 lemon (devided)
  • lemon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon capers
  • garlic powder

And here is how to put together your Baked Salmon Recipe

set the oven at 375°

Spray or wipe a baking sheet with olive oil. For an easier cleanup line it with aluminum foil first and then spray or wipe the foil.

Lay the salmon filets out in the baking sheet with the skin side down. If they have been skinned already just look for the side that has the gray stripe and lay them out with that side down.

Put the capers in a bowl and squeeze the juice from half of the lemon on them. Then mash them a little with a spoon.

Spread the capers and the lemon juice out on the filets. Lightly sprinkle the garlic powder and the lemon pepper on the filets. Then top with some lemon slices.

Then into  the oven it goes. After about ten minutes rotate the pan. Then at twenty minutes check on them by gently poking a filet with a fork and if it wants to flake apart a little it is ready. If you like it really well done then when it is firm and really wants to flake apart that is well done.

Which ever way that you like it serve it up and enjoy your Baked Salmon Recipe.
