  • Olive oil
  • 1 Tablespoon of butter
  • 8 – 12 shrimp depending on their size and how hungry you are – peeled and deveined
  • 1 lemon – cut into quarters
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

How to easily cook up your Lemony Cheesy Shrimp

If your shrimp are frozen just put them in a bowl with enough water to cover them plus about a half an inch. And when they are thawed enough to peel – just about 3 – 4 minutes – peel them and devein them – if necessary. And lay them out on a paper towel and pat them dry.

Thawed out shrimp

Put a skillet on at medium high and add just enough olive oil to barely cover the bottom. And the butter.

Put the shrimp in a bowl and squeeze the juice from 1/4 of the lemon on them. Stir them up getting the lemon juice all over them. Now add the grated parmesan cheese and stir them some more so that they are all coated with the cheese.

Lay out the shrimp on their sides in the skillet.  And squeeze in the juice from another quarter of the lemon.

When they are pink on the side that is on the skillet. Just about 2 – 3 minutes. Turn them over. And when they are white in the middle and pink on the outside they are done.

This Lemony Cheesy Shrimp turned out great! And WOW was it quick and easy! I multi tasked and threw some of those frozen and already seasoned french fries in the air frier and cooked up some green beans in another skillet in some butter and olive oil.  The whole meal was on the table in twenty minutes and IT WAS GOOD.
