Ingredients
10large shrimppeeled and deveined
olive oil
3clovesgarlic chopped
1/2fresh lemon
1pinch black pepper or red pepper flakes
2cupstomato sauceor chopped fresh tomaoes
Instructions
Put a skillet that is large enough to lay out the shrimp. Eyeball just enough good olive oil to coat the bottom. add the garlic, lemon juice and the pepper.
After the garlic has softened up but not yet turned brown add the tomato sauce (or chopped fresh tomatoes)Let the tomato sauce heat up and when it starts to simmer add the shrimp and lay them all out flat.
About a minute and a half to 2 minutes each side. When they are pink on the outside and opaque in the middle they are ready. Serve up and enjoy the shrimp in tomato sauce. Don't forget some of poppop's easy homemade bread.
