black pepper
garlic powder
saltoptional
1/2cup red wine
Instructions
Just put a skillet on at medium high and eyeball just enough olive oil to coat the bottom. Sprinkle both sides of the steaks with salt (optional), garlic powder and black pepper. Carefully lay them in the skillet and give them a bout 3-6 minutes a side depending on their thickness and how well done that YOU like them. After one side is done and you turn them over add the splash of red wine. To check them to see how well done they are you could use a meat thermometer or just poke them with a finger. Of course they will be pretty soft for rare and pretty firm for well done.
Then serve up and enjoy your New York Strip Steak Dinner.
