Have your shrimp thawed out, peeled and deveined. Get your starch and veggie going first because the shrimp cooks really quick.If you decide to do the fettuccine alfredo have the shrimp skillet heated up and oiled. And when you put the fettuccine in it's butter, cream and cheese skilletadd the shrimp to it's skillet.
Lay the shrimp out flat and cook them for just about a minute to a minute and a half. Then turn them over and add the garlic. If you are going to add arugula - or spinach - wait until the shrimp is just shy of being done and add it to the skillet.
