1clovegarlic minced or 1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)
1small pinchcayenne pepperoptional
1 pinchdried parsley flakesfor garnish (optional)
Instructions
Put the honey, soy sauce and salt in a bowl that is big enough to handle the shrimpAfter you get the honey, soy sauce and salt in the bowl you might be tempted to go a little further. Today I added some lemon juice, sesame seeds, minced garlic and a wee pinch of cayenne pepper. You don't have to do any of the extras. If you want to keep it just the honey, soy sauce and salt it will still become a favorite.
Put the shrimp in a separate bowl and drizzle just enough of the sauce to coat them. Toss the shrimp in the sauce a little bit.
Put a skillet on at medium high and eyeball enough olive oil to coat the bottom. Let it get hot before you add the shrimp. Then spread the shrimp out in the pan so that they are all laying on their sides, not piled on top of each other. Cook for just one minute to a minute and a half a side and then add the remaining sauce.
Stir the shrimp in the hot sauce then remove them to the plates and drizzle the sauce on them.
