Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour whole wheat is best for your pup
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 cup natural peanut butter ingredients on the label should be only peanuts
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  • Set your oven at 350°F/175°C. Put all of the ingredients except the water in a bowl and mix them all together. You could use a countertop mixer with a dough paddle, a food processor or just a large cooks spoon. Add the water a little bit at a time until you have a ball of dough.
  • Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil and lightly flour it. Put the ball of dough in the pan and pat it down flat. Then with a rolling pin roll it out to about 3/8" thick.
  • With a pizza wheel or just a butter knife or even cookie cutters cut up the dough into the size that you want. Put them in the oven and bake 'em for about a half hour or until they are as golden brown and as crunchy as your puppy might like them.
  • Let them sit and cool off then break them up and give the first one to your super special pup!

  • Keep them in the fridge in a sealed container or bag. If your dog is allergic to wheat flour, rice flour will work just fine. Just add an additional 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder to the recipe.

Notes

You can substitute canned pumpkin for the peanut butter.
