Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp. salt
  • 6-8 oz. fettuccini about half a box
  • 1/2 cup butter 1 stick is half a cup
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup FRESHLY grated parmesan cheese NOT the kind that you buy already grated

Instructions
 

  • Put a pot of water on for the  pasta. Add the salt and the pasta. As the water heats up and the pasta softens grab it with a pair of tongs and swirl down into the water. Check on it as it cooks and when it is al dente grab it with the tongs and add it to the skillet.
  • As soon as you put the pasta on also put a skillet on that is large enough to handle the pasta when you transfer the cooked pasta to it. Set it at low.
  • First put the butter and the heavy cream in the skillet and as the butter melts stir it and the cream together. And when it's melted add the grated cheese and stir it in. 
  • As soon as the pasta is al dente grab it with the tongs and add it to the skillet. Stir it all together and serve up your Fettuccini Alfredo.
    It's so easy and so good!
