2cupsmarinara sauceor canned tomatoes or chopped fresh
1tsp.dried parsly flakesor 2 tsp. chopped fresh
1/4cupred wine
Instructions
Put your skillet on at medium heat and eyeball just enough olive oil to coat the bottom of the skillet. If your steaks are already cut into about 1/2 inch thickness that is good. If not just lay the steak flat, hold it down with the palm of your hand and slice it in half horizontally. You want them to be about half as thick as normal for a steak.
Add the steaks to the skillet and just sear them on both sides. Add the chopped garlic. Cook just until the garlic starts to sizzle and add the marinara sauce. If you don't have any marinara sauce on hand you can go with canned Roma tomatoes or even some fresh Roma tomatoes chopped up. Some chopped or dried parsley. And a splash or 2 of red wine. Bring it to a simmer and lower the heat to medium. Cook it all turning the steaks a few times until the steaks are firm to a poke.
Remove the steaks and top them with the sauce from the skillet and serve them up! With some homemade bread and yes, we finished off that bottle of chianti that we splashed in the sauce.
