Put a skillet on at medium high and swirl in just enough olive oil to coat the bottom. While the skillet is heating up sprinkle the pork chops with salt and pepper. We like garlic powder along with the salt and pepper but that's up to you.
Now put them into the skillet and cook them about three minutes a side. While the pork chops are cooking peel and slice up the apple. When the chops are leaking out some juices or they read 145° F on a meat thermometer move them to a dish that will catch the drippings.
With a wooden spoon scrap the bits left by the chops off of the bottom of the skillet. Add the butter and the honey to the skillet and stir them together as the butter melts. Then put in the apple slices.
When the apple slices have softened up a little put the pork chops back into the skillet and turn the over a few times as they heat back up.Then serve it up and top the chops with the apple slices, butter and honey.
