Put the potatoes in the microwave and set it for three minutes.
Put the shrimp and the chopped garlic in a bowl and squeeze in the lemon juice. LIGHTLY sprinkle with salt and pepper and gently stir it all together.
Put a skillet on at medium high and add just enough olive oil to coat the bottom.
Put the broccoli in the microwave with the potatoes. Stack the bowls on top of each other if necessary and zap ’em for another 3-4 minutes.
Put the shrimp, garlic and lemon juice in the skillet and spread the shrimp out so that they are all lying flat.
Sear them for a minute to a minute and a half until they are pink and starting to curl up.
Turn them over and sear the other side.
Serve them with a wedge of lemon and a good dry white wine like Gammy’s favorite – Santa Margarita Pinot Grigio.
